Paolo rejoined the cast of the long-running daytime drama AS THE WORLD TURNS as "Damian Grimaldi" in March of 2009. He previously played the role from 1993-1996 and made brief returns to the show in 1997, 2001 and 2006. In 1995 he was nominated for a Soap Opera Digest Award for Hottest Male Star. In 1997, he was nominated for two more Soap Opera Digest Awards.
During his time away from Oakdale, Seganti has worked steadily in film, theater and television all over the world, including as the lead in the international hit show Largo Winch for two seasons.
