One only needs to look at this simple, elegant, well-tailored, no-nonsense collection from smack dab in the mid 1980s as proof the decade had fantastic taste (from the tastemakers, at least). So sad the era is so widely misunderstood. But for some of us, especially those who visit here, these ads are a delightful reinforcement that the 80s were the most stylish decade since the 1920s and 1950s. Bravo!
I'm glad that I'm not the only one loving the 80's :p my favourite decade! and like you I'm always surprised about how many people dislike and make fun of 80's fashion.
Probably it's just ignorance since most of the mainstream 80's fashion was ruled by pop artists like Cyndi Lauper, Motley Crue and all that extravagant people.
