NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 15, 1995--Calvin Klein Cosmetics Co. will debut a new worldwide print advertising campaign for ETERNITY and ETERNITY for men fragrances, announced Paulanne Mancuso, president and chief executive officer of the New York based fragrance manufacturer.
Both the print and television campaign, produced by CRK Advertising, the American Designer's own in-house advertising agency, feature models Christy Turlington and Mark Vanderloo as photographed by Peter Lindbergh in Kehena Beach, Hawaii.
"It's about romance and intimacy," says Calvin Klein, while also stating that Turlington, "represents the women of today, more glamorous, more womanly". Paulanne Mancuso adds "ETERNITY fragrance brand has achieved classic status in the prestige fragrance category by appealing to a broad base of consumers."
In addition 60 second retail tagged radio commercials will begin airing in February and will run through April 1995 in major markets. The radio spots feature voiceovers from Turlington and Joe Narciso reading a poem by William Blake, "To see a world in a grain of sand. And a heaven in a wild flower. Hold infinity in the palm of your hand. And eternity in an hour." Other portions of the spots include "ETERNITY...We met and the world changed. We had time for everything, everything. Time can't touch us."
