Yves Saint Laurent 1989, Nick Neal

Nick Neal for Yves Saint Laurent 1989

While attending photographer Herb Ritts's birthday party in Los Angeles, Nick had a chance encounter with Madonna, and the two hit it off. She subsequently wrote a song that they recorded together, with Nick singing lead vocals and Madonna doing back-up.

The song, "Get Over", was featured in the 1991 Chevy Chase-Demi Moore disaster, "Nothing But Trouble." Although the movie is best forgotten, the song landed Nick a recording contract with Warner/Reprise.

Not sure why but Nick Neal happened to be Nick Scotti, that's how he's known since the early 90's

This guy has an interesting background. Even the whole name thing adds a bit of mystique to his appeal. Honestly, I had never hear of "Nothing But Trouble", but this must have been an incredible opportunity for Nick.
