  1. Michael Flinn, Marcus Shankenberg, Michael Bergin, Brett Salisbury, Mark Vanderloo. These were the most beautiful men in the world. Where are they now?

  2. Mark and Marcus are still active as models, not sure what Michael Bergin is doing but still in the spotlight.

Michael Flinn just vanished, there's nothing about him online.

Brett Salisbury is a new name to me, I don't know him.

  3. Marc Parent was a favorite of mine. He wasn't a huge name and he has completely disappeared. Does anybody else remember him?

    ReplyDelete
  4. yes, I remember him in a 1984 Gianfranco Ferre campaign with Eric Hottenroth photographed by Herb Ritts ;)

  5. yes exactly, I have that. Do you remember anything else? He was very unique at that time. He does not appear to be working any longer.

  6. I don't remember anything else by the moment, have you seen his modelscomposites.com cards?

I like his face, very serene and elegant.

I've googled his name but nothing about him came up, there are other Marc Parents but not this Marc the model :p

  10. I googled Brett Salisbury. He is now author of the Transform Diet and is now a Sports Nutritionist. On the website it discusses how he was a "male super model" by Senior Editor Jed Medina.. There are a few pics of him including one in GQ. His face looks familiar but I am not sure...
Weird enough Michael Flinn was roomates with Brett's High School buddy at USC. And Brett's brother Sean was the Quarterback at USC while Mike atteneded college there. (What a small world)
Marcus Shenkenberg was Brett's roommate in Milan during trips as they worked for Made in Italy models...I suppose the world of modeling gets smaller if you investigate hard enough.

  11. excellent info, thanks for sharing.

I have to say that I don't know Brett Salisbury, it says that he is from the generation of Vanderloo, Schenkemberg and company, I have to buy some GQs from that period, actually I'm more into the 80s' and early 90's.

And I agree: since the beginning of the WWW the world is just a small village! Not only in the modeling world! ;;)

  13. =)) he really had many fans!

I wonder how he looks now, many people think that Michael Flinn and Fabio are look-a-like, what do you think?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Well... yes, not really twins, but out of one family! Do you know, how fabio looks today? Does he always have the dark long hair?
But I think Michael is now in business as normal, so like me!!!! And the truth is, we all get older!!! ;)

  15. yeah, fabio is not blond anymore.

In a fan page of him there's an Hugo Boss ad, Michael Flinn for sure, but they say it's a young Fabio with short hair.

"Dig the Hugo Boss ad - from early days - short hair"

  16. Hi,
I nearly died when I found this. I lost contact with Mike Flinn in the late 1980's and would so love to be in contact with him. We worked together in South Africa on a Sure deodorant campaign and would love to find him again. Can you help me please? Cathy Steed cathysteed@mweb.co.za
